2. "THE RESILIENCE PROCESS CAN BE SUPPORTED AND GUIDED BY TUTORS OF RESILIENCE "

“In our job, we often witness flowers thriving from rocks (…). Resilience means birth, re-birth: the blooming of a flower capable of opening up to life even without soil, but still requiring water to grow and become stronger. In this process, we, as operators, are real watering cans, which feed the flower to make it growing strong”. Operator, daily care center for minors, IoConto Network

There is a fundamental difference between the human being and the oyster. At the human level, the transformative process does not take place in a vacuum. Rather, it requires the support, accompaniment and conscious action of professionals who surround the user in the moment of difficulties. Such supportive figures have to be capable of encouraging individuals and communities in the process of re-appropriating their own resources and their own lives. This is why the role of the "Tutor of Resilience" is of utmost importance.
